Continuation of Coverage for Health Insurance

American members and their dependents returning permanently to the US may continue their Health Insurance coverage up to the age of 84.

Long Term Conversion for U.S. Citizens

Insured members and their dependents who are U.S. citizens may purchase long term conversion health insurance in the United States or any other country under the following circumstances:
  • the insured member's working contract abroad is terminated;
  • the insured is no longer a member of the association;
  • the insured member and/or dependents are no longer eligible;
  • the insured member, under the above circumstances, returned to the U.S. and continued GeoCare-International coverage for the number of months period required by the "continuation" provision of the plan, however the period has expired.

Long Term Conversion for legal residents of the US

All legal residents of the U.S. (citizens and foreign nationals) who are age 74 or younger at the time of application are eligible if they live in a state listed below:
