The insurance brokerage and consulting organization of Rutherfoord is made up of Rutherfoord International, Inc., Thomas Rutherfoord, Inc., Rutherfoord Benefit Services, and Assurance Services Corporation. With roots dating back to 1916, the Rutherfoord Companies currently have close to 300 professional employees, and represent more than 85 insurance companies worldwide. Total annual premiums written by Rutherfoord exceed $400 millions, which currently ranks among the nation's 40 largest brokerage firms according to the professional journal, Business Insurance.

Rutherfoord International, Inc. was established by the principals of Rutherfoord in 1988 to expand the organizations domestic and international presence. Located in the Washington, D.C. area, Rutherfoord International provides the public and private sectors with worldwide employee benefit plans and administration, as well as property, liability, marine and self-insurance programs. Rutherfoord's list of clients includes the United States Department of State, the U.S. Agency for International Development, the American Foreign Service Association, the Organization of American States, the Pan American Health Organization, and the Interamerican Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture.

As brokers and administrators for GeoCare International, it is the responsibility of Rutherfoord International staff to assist participating members and their families with information, application procedures and premium collection for every aspect of the program. Rutherfoord will continue to provide participants with advisory services and brokerage assistance while all insurance coverages are in effect anywhere in the world.
